Privacy Policy — Dice Roller

Last updated: 16 August 2026

Dice Roller (“the app”) is a dice-rolling utility for Android. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect, and who else receives data when you use it.

INFORMATION THE APP COLLECTS ITSELF

None. Dice Roller has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers of its own, and does not ask for any personal information. It requests no runtime permissions — no contacts, no location, no camera, no microphone, no files.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The app saves the following locally, in its own private storage, so your setup survives closing the app: your roll history (the last 40 rolls); your chosen colour theme, dice type, dice count and modifier; and your dot icon, sound style, dot animation and mute preference.

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. It is removed when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. If you have Android Backup enabled, Google may include this data in your device backup under Google’s privacy policy.

ADVERTISING

The app displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob — a banner, an occasional full-screen ad shown when you return to the home screen, and an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect and process your device’s advertising ID; device and app information such as model, operating system version, app version and language; your IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived; and ad interactions, such as whether an ad was shown or tapped.

We do not receive this data ourselves, and we never see any information that identifies you personally. Google’s use of it is governed by Google Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) and the AdMob policies (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543).

YOUR CHOICES

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android under Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops personalised advertising on your device.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a Google consent message the first time it runs. You can change your answer by clearing the app’s storage, which makes the message appear again.

You can delete everything by uninstalling the app, or via Settings → Apps → Dice Roller → Storage → Clear data.

CHILDREN

Dice Roller is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
